Advertising – We may work with advertisers or other partners and advertising service providers like Turn, Adelphic, Drawbridge, LiveRamp, AppNexus and DoubleClick to serve ads or services that may be relevant to you based on your inferred interests or location (or both) to computers, mobile phones or other devices, which may use a device ID, cookie, pixel or other similar technology placed by TMM or the third party (although we would not share any other information that identifies you with an advertiser) on our Services, or on a third party website or app. The placing of these cookies, pixels or other technologies on your device may enable you to be identified across multiple websites and you should consult the privacy policies of our advertisers, partners and advertising service providers to understand how they collect and use your data.

Performance, Analytics and Research – We sometimes use other service providers to help us provide certain products and services and to provide us information about use of the Services to improve the Services and make it appealing to as many users as possible. Please read their privacy policies to ensure that you are comfortable with the manner in which they use cookies.

Can cookies be turned off?

Most web browsers have an option for turning off the cookie feature, which will prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, as well as – depending on the sophistication of your browser software – allowing you to decide on acceptance of each new cookie in a variety of ways. Also, Google has developed a web browser plugin to allow you to opt-out of Google Analytics’ tracking software. Also, certain versions of the iOS operating system permit you to “Limit Ad Tracking” in the system settings and certain versions of the Android operating system allow you to “Opt out of Interest-Based Ads” in the system settings. As well as using cookies, TMM may sometimes use web beacons. A web beacon is a tiny graphic image of just one pixel that’s delivered to your computer either as part of a web page request or in an HTML email message. Either directly or through service providers, we use these pixels as part of our online advertisements either on our website or on third-party websites to learn whether a user who is being shown an online advertisement also makes a reservation; to track conversion with partner websites and to analyse the traffic patterns of users to optimise the travel-related services we bring to you.
